Socrates
is a very affectionate iguana, and is very tame. He'll sit on
my head waiting for me to feed him and as soon as his food is ready, he
crawls down my arm and sits on the counter eating his food. He also gets
along well with the other animals, but it's so hard to get a picture. We
have a dog named Droopy and he'll sit on Droopy while he walks around
the house and he "cleans" the cat. When I hold him, he lounges on my
fingers and he looks like a modeling iguana. It's actually quite
hilarious. If you have something of bright color on, he'll follow it
and he tends to like to jump on things. We have a chandelier in the
dining room he loves to jump up and sit on. Socrates really deserves
to be honored!
