This
is our pet lovebird, called Abelard. She is six months old and lives
in Cullercoats, Tyne and Wear, England. Here she is settling in for a
night in front of the telly! She is so special because she lets us
cuddle her for hours!!
Abelard is extremely affectionate, she spends ages grooming us, making
my curly hair frizzy, and cleaning my ears and teeth! She likes to be
tickled around her neck, and loves to shower with me. Her favorite game
is to pretend she's human and to follow me everywhere I go, even up and
down the stairs! My mum says she starts to chirp when I am due home from
school, and when I am around she has no time for my mum at all. She is
the most loving pet I have ever had, and I think she is the best pet in the world!!
