Teddy Guinea Pig
||Bellingham, Massachusetts, USA|
is my guinea pig Peaches n' Cream. Little Peaches is so cute and
fluffy. She was born with a bent foot but she doesn't mind. She pops
around the cage she shares with our other guinea pig, Juliet, like
nothing is wrong. Her mom had three big babies and that may be why
her foot got turned before she was born. Not enough room for all those
babies. Our Peaches is a sweet, brave little piggie.
Peaches is an affectionate guinea pig. She likes to be held and
snuggled. She loves her morning carrot and is waiting at the cage for me
as soon as she hears me get up. She lives with our other girl, Juliet,
who is also adopted. They like to chase each other around their cage.
She doesn't like to get her nails clipped, none of them do. That is the
only time she will try to nip me. She is trying to tell me to stop. I
think she will get used to it as she gets older. My husband has a beard
and all the piggies like to snuggle up to him. I think they think he is
a giant fuzzy piggie!
My husband and I adopted Peaches when she was about a week old. We had
to wait until she was old enough to leave her mother, at about four weeks
old. She was just a little ball of fluff then. So very cute! Now she is
a bigger ball of fluff and just as cute, as you can see!
