was one of our first mice. Not knowing a boy from a girl mouse, we were
told he was a girl, and named him Mabel. After the other two 'girls' had
babies, we got rather suspicious of Mabel. We quickly learned how to
tell the difference!
What truly makes Mabel special, however, is that he is a very gregarious
mouse, loves attention, is a natural ham, and loves being the center of
attention. His human companion Christopher will hold him in his hand
for long periods of time, in which few words are said, but a whole lot
of love is exchanged. They have little games they play with each other,
little rituals they go through every day. Mice live very short lives,
but Mabel is making the most of his, and we are honored to be a part of it ...
