Hi,
my name is Alfie and I'm a Mali Uromastyx. I'm a very playful
lizard, when I want to come out I go over to the glass, stand on my hind
legs and beg. Originally, my mom went into the pet store to look at
Leopard Geckos, but she ended up falling head over heels for me. That's
why I'm called Alfie. I also love to give lizard kisses. We can't tell
my gender yet, since I'm so young, but everyone assumes that I'm a boy.
I eat the occasional cricket for now, while I'm growing, but I love my
mustard greens and bird seed. (The bird seed helps my digestion!) I'm
very calm and I love to sit on my mom's shoulder while she is on the
computer and walk on the keys. In a few months, though, I might not be
able to sit on her shoulder because I'll be 16 inches long and fat. But
now, while I'm only 5 inches long, I'll sit in anyone's hand!
