This
is Greta, a teddy bear hamster. I was at the pet store last summer
looking at hamsters when I spotted her in a pile under her brothers and
sisters. She peeked her cute little face out at me and I knew I had to
get her! I had a see-through plastic container to put her in, I don't
have a car so she got to go on a bus ride home with me. She was a hit on
the bus, everyone loved her as she dug through the shavings to make a
bed to take a nap.
Greta loves to climb the cage just high enough to look at her friend
Connie the cat. They love to stare at each other. Greta loves to run up
and down the stairs in her cage, and as you can see, she loves her corn!
She's so smart! She uses her litter box in the cage to go to the
bathroom in. I love Greta very much, she brings joy and entertainment
into my life!
