I
have only had Brandy for a few months. She
is loving, very affectionate and active. She and I fell in love at
first sight. We live in Charleston, SC with an English Cocker Spaniel
(who is jealous) and a black cat (who is wary).
Brandy is very active, loves the outdoors on my deck...she walks back and
forth talking non-stop, she has copied my laugh exactly. She is slow to
wake up in the morning which is good because I am, too. My dog loves to
go with me to the mail box and has to have some mail to carry back...now
Brandy has to have a piece of mail to carry as well. She loves music, I
sing to her and she sways back and forth and her eyes dilate. When I
turn on the radio or play a CD, she dances and dances..up and down, back
and forth. She is very affectionate, loves to be petted under her
wings. I think her favorite thing is getting in the shower. I put a
pedestal in the walk in shower and she flaps and talks and walks back
and forth for 20 to 30 minutes. She gets mad when I stop the water and
try to take her out.
She can be moody and temperamental, but that is only when she does not
get her way. She loves all the attention she can get and shows off in
return. She has a vocabulary of at least 30 words that I know of now.
When the phone rings she says "Hello" and since I have had her and I
work at home she has learned "Who is it now?" I have to be careful
what I say, she picks things up quickly.
Anyway, she is very entertaining, demanding and I am very happy to have
her. Quite unusual and different for me. Every day is a new treat.
