This
is "Precious," a Ball Python. I got Precious when he was just a
tiny baby and he's been a joy to have ever since. He is the only snake
that lives in my living-room and I often take him out while I'm watching
TV, he usually curls up on my lap or snuggles up under my hair. Once, I
fell asleep with him out and when I woke up the next morning, he was
curled up under the blanket next to me.
I take him along on educational talks for children to teach them about
snakes. He seems to enjoy all of the attention and has never hissed
once, even after hours of being handled by children from ages five and up!
Precious loves to ride in the truck and go to the park, he often
attracts a crowd of people and helps them to see that snakes can be
wonderful pets. It always makes me smile when I see another person fall
in love with his gentle nature.
