Honey, the Pet of the Day
Name: Honey
Age: Two years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Mini Lop Rabbit
Home: Kettleby Ontario, Canada

Honey is a spayed female Mini Lop. We got Honey from someone who could no longer take care of her. When we first got her she was so starved that her spine stuck up from her body and you could easily feel every single bone, it was horrible! So when we got her we treated her like a princess; she had all the pellets and vegetables she could ever dream of, brushing every day, lots of free time out of her cage and plenty of love and attention.

When we got her she was about seven months old but way too small for her age, she weighed about one and a half pounds. Now she is two and weighs about four and a half pounds. We also just got her spayed about two months ago. She is the best bunny in the world, every morning she thumps around in her cage to wake me up and when she does, I get up and let her hop around my room and in the hall then right before I'm off for my day I put her back in her cage, then when I get home she also gets to hop around. As you can see in the photo of her, she loves to go and lie on my bed. Thankfully she's litter trained and doesn't go to the bathroom on it! She is a very lucky bunny, and we all love her very much.
