Melody
and Honeycomb are male and female Lutino Peach-Faced Lovebirds.
I first got Melody and Honey when they were two weeks old. They were
hand-fed and raised which makes them so very affectionate to anyone. In
the picture here they have just finished molting and are now in their
splendid coloring. They love to take baths on the kitchen sink and
enjoy playing on their potted tree, which is now totally leafless
hee hee. Every day I take them out of the cage and let them play in
their playpen area. They love fresh veggies, which makes up half of their
diet.
Honey is the bossy one, she has a big personality in a little package.
But when they're tired playing, they both cuddle up under my shirt and
sleep. That's priceless.
