||Three months old|
||English Angora Rabbit|
||Grayson, Kentucky, USA|
is Angel. She is a lilac English Angora doe with violet eyes.
Angel is our third English Angora and the sweetest of them all. She
always sticks that sweet little nose out of her cage to get petted and
as soon as you touch her she sits down and starts to tooth purr. She is
a wonderful addition to our family. Her binkys put many many smiles on
our face through the day. She loves for you to sit in the floor with
her so she can hang herself over your ankle to get pets (that's what
she's doing in the smaller picture, she was six weeks old there) and oh my
goodness the kisses! She loves to give bunny kisses.
I have been slowly introducing her to greens and treats. She came from
a breeder and they tend to keep them a bit too skinny and they
almost never give treats to bunnies under six months because of the risk
of stomach upset. I watch my babies very closely for any problems and
have never had any whatsoever. So far she loves any kind of greens
but especially Kale and lots of Timothy hay. Her favorite treats are
yogurt covered raisins and sunflower seed kernels. I named her Angel
because it suits her personality. On the way home she cuddled in my
husband's lap and purred so loud I could hear it in the drivers seat.
We just started calling her our little Angel and she really is.
