||Three and a half years old|
||Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA|
is my baby Cookie Monster. When I first brought him home he was too
young for me to tell what gender he was. The people at the pet store
told us he was a girl so we named him Cookie. We originally wanted to
name him Cheerio because he was so small he could squeeze into a cheerio
box to get at the cereal. We found out later that she was really a he.
We couldn't rename him so we just added Monster to the end of Cookie.
He is the sweetest rabbit ever. He never bites and loves to be petted.
He even trained himself to only "go" in his cage. So we let him roam all
over the basement and never lock him in his cage. Cookie learned how to
open the laundry room door, then hops a few steps into the laundry room
and comes right back out! He hates uncarpeted floors! We love the fact
that his sense of smell isn't good, you can throw a treat on the floor
and he won't find it until you shove it right under his nose.
He's got a great appetite and will try new foods such as broccoli,
carrots, grapes, apples, Cheerios, and other good snacks. But his
favorite treats are yogurt drops. He is such a good-natured pet and just
wants love, affection, and a couple hundred treats a day!
