About Us
Erytheia, the Pet of the Day
Name: Erytheia
Age: Three years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Teddy guinea pig
Home: Cumberland, Rhode Island, USA
Erytheia is one of four female guinea pigs that we have. She is the most outspoken and adventurous pig that we have ever had. She is a pig that knows her own mind and must get things her way. She is quiet most of the time except when you make her mad and then there is a constant stream of chatter coming out of that tiny mouth. Getting her nails clipped and bath time are sure to set her off!

The summer is Erytheia's favorite time of year because each weekend my husband and I wait until the sun has gotten lower and the yard has started to cool and we take our girls outside to play in the yard and eat the grass. Erytheia's sisters stay together and are happy to nibble the grass close to my husband and I. Not Erytheia. She sits quietly for about five minutes and then she is off exploring. Her favorite place to go is into our vegetable garden. She loves to roam around among the squash and pumpkin plants. Each week she wanders around all of the plants before she finally finds one to settle under for a nap. She is our little garden queen!
