This
is my horse stormboy aged 20, competed mainly at showjumping and
always had a very big heart. For his size he could clear amazing fences
sometimes higher than himself. Although semi-retired, Stormboy is still
in very good condition and will continue competing in other disciplines
for the next few years.
We do not normally teach our horses tricks, however he knows all the leg
aids and is very good at dressage. He also holds some fastest time
records in sporting. Having always been a very spirited and easily
spooked horse. He has a very naughty side to him also. This naughty
side gives him 'presence' and catches the judge's eye as he would seem to
be saying 'look at me'. Stormboy can also get off the float faster than
any living animal. This is very frightening as we have to drop the
tailgate while he is trying to stomp his way out, it is like a bullet
being fired from a gun. Stormboy has won many jumping championships as
well as showing and hacking sashes. He has numerous trophies in
sporting and has at times won hundreds of dollars at agricultural shows.
But most important of all, he is my big-hearted horse.
