||Nine months old|
is my adorable bun Oliver who came to live with me six months ago. He
is a house bunny who has the run of the house the majority of the day.
He has to go in his bed at night otherwise he will run up and down mine!
I had never experienced rabbit ownership until Oliver came along and an
experience it has been! He has no time for cuddles or being held... he
is on his own agenda! He loves his kitty brothers (Homer and Marlow) and
they begrudgingly accept him. Although it usually results in a "soft"
swat, he tries to lie down close to his brothers. Despite being
neutered, he continues to run in circles around them in an attempt to
entice a chase!
He has been a challenge in many ways, from litter box training to wire
chewing to picking at anything he can get his teeth into! However, he is
such a joy to watch when he bings and he loves to be "turbo" bunny and
race around the house. How could you ever stay upset with such an
adorable little guy?! He is also improving with age! The weather has
finally been nice enough to take him in the back garden on his leash and
he is beginning to like the outings! Oliver loves food and begs more
than any dog I've ever seen! He has "nanna" time in the morning when we
share a banana and he readily goes in his house at night when he hears
the sound of the lettuce bag and vegetables being chopped! I love my
Oliver because he has such personality plus and he helps me remember
that it's the simple things, such as watching/playing with him, that
bring joy to our lives!
