Ribs, the Pet of the Day
Name: Ribs
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Kind: White's Tree Frog
Home: Florida, USA
My frog's name is Ribs. She is a White's Tree Frog, also known as a dumpy frog or a smiling frog. I am not sure that she is a female but I think that she is. I have had her for almost a year now. She is so cool. Sometimes I will take her out of her cage and she will just sit there on my hand. I change her cage about every two to three mouths. It doesn't get real dirty. She eats crickets, moths, and spiders (daddy long legs ). Most the time I just feed her crickets though. I get them from the bait shop because they are the cheapest there. I feed her about every two to three to four days. I did try feeding her a worm once but she didn't eat it. The worms might have been too big, they were night crawlers. I did read that they ate night crawlers, but Ribs would not eat them. I have her in a ten gallon tank. She will change colors a lot. Sometimes she is green and others she is brown. She is so cool. I love her very much. I keep her in my room because we live in Florida and it would be too hot for her outside. She is so cool. I love her very much.
