is Cactus Jack, we have had him since he was only six months old.
He could say Hello, and would give you a High Five to get his favorite
treats (Peanuts and Sunflower Seeds). He loves to go outside on his
leash on warm days to say hello to people, especially little children.
Inside he loves to be out on my lap, and upside down with my husband
clowning around. He knows when he is a bad boy and says "Ouch, No Biting"
and "Bad Boy" in a sad, sad voice.
He always loves to get a little bit of cheese and when we are just out
of sight, he says I love you baby and makes kissing sounds to get our
attention. He is very fond of our African Grey Parrot Pebbles. She is
always telling him to step up, and letting him know when he has been
bad. He makes kissing sounds when she is near him, but Pebbles doesn't
return his affection. We also have a little Quaker Parrot Homer, who
thinks he is bigger, and that he could take on Cactus Jack, though he is
quite small in comparison. Although Jack is the biggest in our flock,
by age he is still the baby, which seems to be just fine with him, as
long as he gets as much attention as possible.
