This
picture of my frog Spunky was taken about five months ago. He has
grown a lot since then. He got his name because when the guy at the pet
store tried to get him out of the tank he jumped out onto the clerk.
Then when he tried to get Spunky into the container so that we could
take him home he wouldn't stay in the container! We finally got him to
stay long enough to get the top on. When we got to our house we took
him out to put him in his new tank. Spunky jumped out of the tank and
onto the desk then the floor. I had to chase him so that he wouldn't
get under something and get stuck or hurt! We then decided that he was a
very spunky frog so we named him Spunky.
Spunky has been through a lot! We recently moved to Georgia from St.
Louis Missouri. At first I didn't know if he was going to be able to
survive the car ride because of the stress! But he proved me wrong and
is perfectly fine. Spunky now spends most of his time sleeping, eating,
and hanging out by the water bowl, just being his little froggie self
and keeping me company. He is a cool friend, and has proven his name
correct many times!
