I
was always used to having pets but when I moved to Toronto my dog had
to stay home with my parents. Apparently, a hamster is the only pet I am
allowed to have in my building, so I went out and bought one. Nemo was
sitting under the little hamster hut in the cage at the pet store and
she was so cute so I took her home.
She turned out to be a great choice! Nemo is very friendly, and curious
- whenever I open her cage she crawls out into my hand. She has never
bitten me, or anyone and she is very tame. She likes her hamster ball,
and her wheel - as you can see! For treats, she likes carrots and
mini-milkbones. I hope to have her for a very long time.
