From
the first moment I saw her, I knew that Dusty was the one, and even
though I wasn't seriously planning on buying a rabbit at the time, I am
extremely lucky that I did.
Dusty has brought an ocean of joy and love into my life. Every day, I
rush home from work just to see her - and I am usually greeted by a mass
of torn up newspaper, and a little head poking out from underneath the
wreckage! I've lost count of how many toys I have bought her, all of
which she ignores. Seems like the best present that you can offer her,
is a piece of torn up paper, which she bites hold of and runs in circles
with it in her mouth when she thinks no one is watching! She keeps us
entertained with her little binkies, but she loves to be tickled or is
quite content on sniffing around the house.
Dusty is very health conscious and will go crazy for oats, chinese
greens, almonds and apple. It's been a battle to try and litter train
her, and although she is usually good, there is the odd slip up - which
occurs when she is really excited, or when she wants to let you know
that she is not happy.
Dusty has her favorite places in the house, which are mainly the places
that she knows she is not allowed to go, e.g. behind the computer (where
there is a mass of wires) or trying to tunnel her way into our bedrooms!
Dusty has well and truly become a member of the family, and she makes me
feel humble each time I am around her. Thank you Dusty, for the joy you
bring to our lives!
