Lobo, the Pet of the Day
Name: Lobo
Age: Deceased, Nine years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Guinea Pig
Home: Stockholm, Sweden

This is Lobo the Main Man Hairpig. I do not know exactly how old he became, but we lived together for eight years before he sadly died from old age. He was already a grownup when I got him so he could have become around nine years old, which is very uncommon for guinea pigs.

He was special because he was an extremely kind and gentle little piggy with a lot of character and he was not afraid of anything.

The thing he loved most of all was rumblestrutting and chasing the ladies - he loved that even more than eating! His ladyfriend Tankgirl the Tyrant sometimes got a bit aggravated by his constant attention and tried to kick him but nothing could stop this ultimate Romeo from his quest of love, though they never had any babies.

He loved to cuddle up on my chest and roll over on his back, with all four legs sprawled in the air, so I could scratch his soft furry belly, and he was almost never quiet, always humming and chirping, commenting everything in his way when he was out for a walk. He loved to be cuddled, lying cooing under my chin and giving me piggy kisses, and he often fell asleep in my arms. He was a truly wonderful little man and I am so grateful that I could have him in my life for so long.

Sleep well my little fur baby until we see each other again on the Rainbow Bridge.
