Savanna
and Taz are special, have been from the moment they met.
Savanna was a stray bunny who was being cared for in a rescue center.
In order for us to be allowed to bring her home to live with Taz, we had
to prove that she and Taz would get along okay. Hence, Taz went to the
rescue center to meet Savanna for a "hot date"! It was love at first
bite. Savanna continually snapped every time Taz went near her and
lunged at him when he didn't. Nevertheless, we were allowed to bring
Savanna home. No more than 48 hours later, Taz's perseverance, gentle
and tolerant nature (and gluttony for punishment) had won over the
feisty young Savanna and they were eating from the same bowl and curling
up together.
Savanna and Taz are now contentedly living together as our house bunnies
- playing with our chinchilla, chasing our cat, and, of course, eating
our house!
