About Us
Tabi-Faith, the Pet of the Day
Name: Tabi-Faith
Age: One year old
Gender: Female
Kind: Peach-faced Pied
Cinnamon Lovebird
Home: Chester, Virginia, USA
Tabi-Faith adopted our family and we, her from a breeder last January. Tabi came home to a family of four, a dog and a cat with such courage it was admirable. Much like the books describe her, Tabi has no fear and is quite the little boss. She loves to hide in and around any crevice including boxes, drawers and in even in our shirts with her busy little feet! She loves to sit on shoulders and she's quite the lovable little sweetheart and is also ready to getting out of her cage several times daily for a little while. She has "out of cage" time and down quiet "in cage" time. She loves to be a part of the family, especially at dinner and calls to us for attention-which most of the time she gets almost immediately. She always make her wishes known! Demanding at times but yet appreciative of attention, she shows it in her demeanor and lovable little nips. So when she calls, we come running to her because she's so adorable. We have totally bonded with Tabi, she's a joy to have around as she sings her little mimicking songs to serenade us while she plays in her cage. Tabi is a confident and happy little soul. Her favorite foods are banana before bedtime-broccoli, carrots, peas and rice - anything she finds on a plate, she likes to taste so she's not picky and of course she has her daily seed mixture, and seed snacks. We try to give her healthy food but she can tear up a cracker with a quickness! And this is the tenacious and lovable spirit of our Tabi-Faith, whom we adore.
