Fred
is quite a character! She can talk, (Yes, Fred is a girl), saying
things like "Hey Fred!" "Hey Pretty Girl" "Hello Fred" and she can
whistle the Andy Griffith song, do wolf whistles, and many other
whistles. Fred will also bark when she is mad!
Fred was a wild-caught bird and then was a pet and then a breeder so she
hasn't had an easy life and has been passed around. But Fred and I have
bonded like crazy (she doesn't care much for men though but she
tolerates my husband (Daddy) nicely) and she is now in her forever home
where she is spoiled and loved daily.
Fred will ride around on my shoulder all day if I let her and loves to
ride in the car. She also loves the vacuum, and will do just about
anything for a peanut. Fred lives in Athens, Alabama with four other
parrots, two dogs, and her Mommy and Daddy.
