Our
baby girl Belle was the best baby ever. She recently passed away
after living nearly two ferret lives at the age of 8 1/2 years old.
There are way too many things that make her special to us for us even to
count. She was never caged and was litter-box trained so she spent more
time with us than usual for a ferret. She would sleep on one of our
chests until we fell asleep, and then she was off. She would investigate
every nook and cranny she could find. She was curious, playful and sweet
as can be - when she wasn't making mischief that is.
She was raised with a wonderful miniature Schnauzer named Pepper. We
believe this is why she acted more like a dog then a ferret. It's
comforting to know they are together once again and causing ruckus at
the Rainbow Bridge just waiting for the day we will all be reunited.
