About Us
Montana, the Pet of the Day
Name: Montana
Age: One year old
Gender: Female
Kind: Striped Leopard Gecko
Home: Renton, Washington, USA

Montana is a great pet. She doesn't do many tricks, but she still can be my friend. She is very slow but we are practicing on getting faster. Special Striped Leopard Geckos are special pets but very fragile. We got Montana from PetsMart. There where five other Special Striped Leopard Geckos. Montana was the one in the corner. She had just laid down and just closing her eyes. Right then I new that Montana was the one I wanted. We are getting another Leopard Gecko to be her buddy.

Montana's favorite food is crickets but she will eat meal worms. She knows to lick the vitamin C calcium off her bowl when she needs it. She knows me and my own name, she knows her name, she knows when it's feeding time, and she knows when it's play time. If you put your pinky in the tank, then she will climb on top of her log and try to bite it. I found out that Special Striped Leopard Geckos do not have sticky tongues like frogs, they have small rough tongues like cats. Anyway, Montana is the best.
