Shabu
is special because he is an "unofficial mix" between a common
hamster and a Grizzly bear, he has got white beard and pink gloves!
Shabu Shabu II is my 5th hamster and the most difficult to get ... this
is why once I found him I fell deeply in love with him. He's really
pudgy and soft. I've bought him a special mirror (in the shape of an
apple) to watch himself in all his "furry glory" any time he wants.
Being as he is young and still pretty skittish pet we're not in close
contact yet but I'm working at it by filling my hand with salad each
time I dare to venture it into his cage. Shabu is very nice to touch as
his fur is really thick ... this is why he reminds me of a grizzly bear,
or of a baby donkey because of his color. I'm very proud of him
especially because each time he sees me in the morning he tells
me: "Ciao, Mamma!" in his way. Could you believe it? Could you ask for more? No!
