Bootsie
is a joy in our lives. We currently have no children, so she is
our child. She lets us know that she is happy when we come home because
she does her 'happy bunny dance.' During this dance, she runs around
fast, kicking her feet up in the air, and shaking her little head.
Here she is relaxing with her ball that she pushes around with her
nose, and her hay which she eats a lot of. She also loves to jump on
the couch with us and check out what kind of food we're eating, as well
as jumping into our laps and chilling for a few minutes before she gets
'busy' again. We got Bootsie when she was six weeks old. It was an
Easter gift to ourselves. She was named Bootsie because of her front
feet. The white part kind of looked like boots. She is also only five
pounds, which is the dwarf breed in her. She is just the right size for
her living space, which gets bigger each night when we come home and
let her 'run free.'
She enjoys her apple treats, as well as her veggies (parsley, lettuce,
and other things). She also loves to get her back rubbed, but she can't
stand getting her toe nails clipped. It's been hard, but she's starting
to warm up to it. Bootsie is such a joy and we hope she lives a long
time. We truly don't know what we would do without her.
