Hi!
This is my Solomon Island Eclectus - Tarzan. He turned six years old
on October 7, 2003. We live in Reno, Nevada, USA. This particular shot
took me several weeks to get as he does not put his head upside down
that often, but the first time I saw him do it I just had to get a shot
so my patience finally paid off!
He is the sweetest boy ever and loves me almost as much as I love him.
He has a fairly large vocabulary, but he mostly says 'come here!'
whenever I leave the room because he is mostly just happy if I am in the
room with him. One of his favorite things is his night song that I
sing him before he goes to bed. You know the one... "Rock-a-bye Tarzan,
in the tree-top..." He just gazes at me while I sing him the night
song two or three times then he fluffs up and settles in for the night. He is
potty-trained so he can go anywhere without worry of accidents, and he's
quite the little dancer, too!
