This
our Timneh African Grey, Bailey (a.k.a. Pooky). My husband and I
got our Pooky five years ago when she was just a baby. The breeder had two
Timnehs to choose from, and we had a hard time deciding which one to
pick. We visited them several times when they were really little, and
finally the day came when we could take one home. We were distraught as
to which one to "adopt", going back and forth between the two since they
were both so cute. I finally said out loud, "I wish there was a sign!"
and right after I said that our Pooky raised her foot in the air, as to
say, "Me! Me!" It's like she knew it was her chance, she better do something!
So that was it, we knew she was the one, and it has been love ever
since. She is such a smart bird, she listens to every word we say with
great attention and tells our two cockatiels to be quiet. She also likes
to stick out her tongue, which is very funny. I am so glad that she
raised her hand that day and chose us! I love my Pooky!!!
