Cozmo, the Pet of the Day
Name: Cozmo
Age: Six years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Morgan Arabian cross
Home: Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada

Cozmo is my adorable bay 14.3hh Morgan arabian cross gelding. I have had him for two years. He is six years old now and I got him when he was four. We live on a twenty-acre acreage just outside of Sherwood Park and enjoy it very much. Cozmo is special to me because he is my best friend and I love him a lot. Cozmo's favorite treats are Red and Purple Freezes and Apple Turnovers which I buy for him when we go out for supper.

He's a pretty weird horse sometimes but I think he's one of a kind and that's another thing that I like about him. Whenever I call him he comes quickly to say hi with my other horse Angel; even when the other horses don't come with him he still comes for a visit. I will never forget the day that I got him because he is my best friend and I could never imagine life without him. In the beginning we had a few problems but we worked through them and I think that is what is important, in the end it has made our relationship even stronger. Cozmo loves when I go out to visit with him and brush him; that's probably his most favorite part of the day. Cozmo and I are just starting Gymkhana, I understand him pretty well and we're just going to take it slow for the first little while but then we will attend shows like Hastings Lake and Still Meadows. Cozmo enjoys the events in gymkhana too.

Cozmo is a sensitive horse and he gets upset easily when someone else rides him except for some of my friends; He really likes my Friend Karina and they get along well. Cozmo is the kind of horse who needs someone who understands him and doesn't force him to do stuff automatically and takes their time with him. Cozmo has taught me a lot throughout the past few years and I am very grateful and lucky to have such a friend like him. Cozmo will always hold a special place in my heart no matter what happens!
