||Two years old|
||Congo African Grey|
||Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA|
had Kamilah (Kami) shipped to me from Florida from a wonderful breeder
of these birds and I have never been sorry for a second. Even though I
didn't get to pick her out in person, I know we were destined to be
together. She is such a doll and we both love each other so much.
Kamilah in African means "the perfect one" and I sure have to agree.
Kami is a great talker and makes up her own songs. The first time I
heard her singing a song she made up I couldn't believe my ears. I also
taught her to say I'm an opera singer and then she lets out a high note.
That is just one of those things you shouldn't teach a bird as that is
how she wakes me up now. She really is the most enchanting and special
bird and I don't know what I would do without her.
Kami also lives with two Timneh African Greys (CharliSue and Beeper),
a Senegal, Quaker, BCC, tiels and budgies. I love all my birds but Kami
has really wrapped her wings around my heart.
