This
is Sciron, my albino rat. He's quite feisty and active. He lives in
a large ceramic jar inside his cage. I tried to exchange his bed (the
jar) numerous times with other bedding but he's never happy unless he has
the jar. I guess he feels protected and secure inside it. I've tried
getting him to use his exercise ball but he doesn't show any interest in
it. Whenever I put him in it he just sits there and doesn't move. On the
other hand, he loves to be outside in the grass. I take him out into the
yard and let him run around while I sit on the swing and keep an eye on
him. He's not too fond of baths, either. Whenever he hears the bath
water running he gets squirmy because he knows what's coming. He's
always happy when the bath's done and he gets to sit in his nice warm
towel to dry off. He's a lot of fun and he always keeps you on your feet.
