is my pony Licorice, she is a great addition to my horse family. We
got her a few years ago when my little sister needed a new riding pony,
so our Grandpa Don (he isn't really related but he sure seems like it),
bought her this pony. Unfortunately, Licorice was not very well trained,
so my mom, my brother and I started working with her. After about a year
she was the perfect little girl.
She now spends her days eating (as you can see she is somewhat chubby
but we call it her fluffiness), doing gymkhanas, eating some
more and making people laugh. The reason that she's so important is that
our little Liccy Poo works for the Therapeutic Riding Society in our
little town and she is one of the best horses they have ever had.
Everyone loves her and she has helped many kids, they are even
considering to make a stuffed doll that looks like her to raise money
for the program.
We have bred Licorice and are hoping for her to have a beautiful baby
this spring. We hope for a little filly, and know Licorice will be a
great mother to whatever she has, filly or colt. Her antics and cuteness
have charmed people all over Vancouver Island and I hope she charms you, too!
