Tilly
is my 1 1/2 inch Red-Eared Slider. My father-in-law found her on
the sidewalk - not a safe place for a tiny turtle to be! At that time
she wasn't very friendly, but now she loves for us to pet her head.
She has so much personality. If she sees you watching her, she'll swim
back and forth right in front of you, begging for food. During the day,
she'll crawl up on her rock and bask in the heat provided by the heat
lamp. Sometimes while basking, she'll do "yoga". Most of the time she
will hold one of her back legs out in mid air, but occasionally she'll
balance on her shell and hold out all four legs!
