This
is Nevada, and he is one of the craziest birds you'll ever meet!
His favorite game is "big bird," when he will flop upside down, wings
spread, making lots of crazy Amazon sounds. He also loves to be wrapped
up in towels, blankets, t-shirts, you name it. But, at the end of an
energetic play session, he will almost always be ready for a good snuggle.
Nevada sings opera, laughs, and chatters away with the TV. He has one
older sister, Emmie, who is a green cheek conure. They get along pretty
well, although Emmie is a Daddy's girl and can get pretty protective of
him when Nevada wants to play. Although he can be a handful, as any
Amazon can, he makes life around our house a lot more special.
