This
is Beau. He came to be a part of our family after we lost our
beautiful nine-year-old ferret Belle a month before to cancer. She had been
with us a very long time and we missed her terribly. It was at that
point I just wanted to laugh again and so I went looking for a funny
ferret. And boy did I find just the right one!
Beau makes us laugh from sun up to sun down. He loves chasing us and our
two Labradors, Zeus and Clio, around the house! He loves getting in the
shower every day to lick your feet! He has his favorite toys which he
hides and you never see. He loved the Christmas Tree and although we did
not actually witness this, we are positive he was climbing it to get
all the glass ornaments from the top to the floor to chase around the
house too! Beau also is special because he is the sweetest ferret I have
known. He will let you cradle him like a baby and rub his head for
hours. He has given us back our laughter and then some, and I think
Belle would have wanted this for us. We love him very much.
