Quinn
is special because she has a very sweet disposition. She always
makes me laugh, and she's really entertaining. An overall loveable
animal! Quinn is extremely special to me because she is the first sugar
glider to come into my life. I've only had her a short time, but she's
taught me a lot. It's been a very rewarding experience.
While driving home from the airport, I opened the crate containing two
small sugar glider joeys, my heart swelled up. I tried touching both of
them, and I got bit. I noticed the larger of the joeys was protecting
the smaller one. Right then I knew that I wanted her. She was the sugar
glider for me.
On rainy days we cuddle up under my blankets, during the day she sleeps
over my heart. Sometimes for snacks we share a fruit-juice popsicle or a
container of yogurt. Sometimes she gives me little glider kisses. The
tiniest thing she does leaves me with the biggest warmest feeling
inside. Hiding in a tissue box, playing in an empty paper-towel
cardboard tube, and playfully attacking my fingers.
Because of her, I may own more sugar gliders later on, but Quinn has
made an everlasting impression on my life. And has conquered the whole
of my heart. As well the heart's of everyone who has met her.
