This
is our rooster, Reggie Jackson, he's a cross between a Cornish
Barred Rock and a Buff Orpington. He lives in Redding, Connecticut, but
is formerly of Litchfield. He became ill last summer, and his feet
swelled so that he was immobilized. We got him tested and found that he
suffers from Gout, for which he has been taking daily medication and
seems a lot better. We moved him down to Redding to be with us each day,
and he resides here in his custom built, mission-style coop with his
"wife" Buffy Jackson, who is a Buff Orpington. Reggie is very
protective of Buffy, and they sit together taking mud baths. He is a
very sweet boy, who will let you rub his comb. His favorite treats are
corn on the cob, coconut and worms. He is our handsome boy!
