Prism
is a Brazilian Rainbow Boa Constrictor. He's a beautiful and happy
boy. I purchased him in April of 2003, and he's just a sweetheart. He
can be a bit nippy, but that's to be expected, the young ones are
usually a lot more snappy than he is, so he's starting off relatively
calm.
What makes him even more special is that his scales have the ability to
refract full spectrum light into its color components. If you look
closely, you can see the "rainbow shine" on his scales, that's how his
species gets their name. Prism is an absolutely stunning boy, and the
newest addition to my reptile family.
