This
is Nimitz (Nimmy). Nimmy is smart, funny and cute. He will do just
about anything for raisins. We used to give him prunes because he loves
them but we found out the hard way that one large prune inside one
little ferret can get pretty messy digestion wise. So we switched to
raisins. He rolls over, and he kisses for raisins. Nimmy is four years old
and sweet as can be. He has volunteered as a pet therapist, and we did a
walk-a-thon for the Humane society, although I did most of the walking.
He is the ferret in the house that tolerates the cats the best, mostly
with that "I'll tolerate them if I must" look on his face. He is great
with the kids, hates taking a bath, but loves fruit of any kind. He
lives with his two "brothers" and two "sisters", and two geriatric cats.
