Our
little Budgie is special because she acts like a person and not just
a bird. She is so smart and so sweet. Her favorite sound mimics a
whistle we taught her like when you are calling someone. She makes that
sound a lot. Budgie also loves to eat real fruit, large pieces, at that.
I once attempted to feed her a small piece of an apple while holding the
rest of the apple in my other hand. She refused the small piece and
worked her way over to the whole apple and indulged. She climbs upside
down on the roof of her cage and loves to play with her plastic yellow
golf ball. She is so sweet because she will come over and kiss you when
you move your face close to her cage. She also makes the cutest,
sweetest sounds. She also loves to sit and sleep in the palm of our
hands or in her little towel. Budgie is a unique birdie and there will
never be another bird like her.
