Dakota
is my whiteface pearl/pied cockatiel. She was a gift to me from
a bird breeder I work for. But it was really Dakota that chose me. As
I helped feed the other birds and clean the cages, she flew to me and
sat on my head. No matter where I put her in the room, she always
managed to find my head again. From that point on, we are hardly ever
apart. She helps me while I clean and hangs out with me when I watch
T.V. She is even nice enough to test my food to make sure its still
okay to eat. Dakota is a sweet bird and my best feathered friend. I
can't imagine life without her.
