Protopopov
is a Russian Arabian, whom we call Poppy for short. Poppy
is a sassy horse who is very intelligent. He loves our six-year-old
daughter, Savannah. Whenever she asks him if he loves her, he shakes his
head yes. Poppy was being trained for dressage but he preferred to just
be someone's pet. He is a fantastic creature who is smart enough to know
his rider's ability (or lack thereof). He also knows when people are
talking about him. He is very human oriented. He will zip and unzip your
jacket. He will take a hat off of your head. He is the head of his
"herd," which consists of a really old horse and a cute pot-bellied pig.
We all love Poppy and hope you have enjoyed meeting him.
