Hi!
My name is Ariel. I'm a two-year-old butterfly koi from Pennsylvania
(but really I'm a mermaid princess). I grew a lot this year - I'm almost
16" long! I live in a pond with my three good friends, Maku, Larry and
Curly. Maybe someday they'll be Pet of the Day, but the spotlight's on
me today and that's the way I like it! I'm the princess and they know
it! I'm the first one to come up to get fed and I'll eat right out of
your hand. I see everything that goes on in my pond and I'm very
friendly, but if I'll let you know if I don't like something with a
swoooosh of my huge beautiful tail. I like to eat shrimp, peas, melon,
grapefruits, oranges and worms. My eyes are unique too. I have silver
eye shadow over one eye (you can see it in this picture) and gold over
the other. I'm well-loved and of course, I deserve to be - did I mention
I'm a princess?
