I
got Luna when she was about three weeks and she was very little and so
cute! She was scared of me and to make her accustomed to me I feed her
every day in my hand. Now she's not afraid any more and she comes to see me
when I open her cage. Naturally, like all hamsters, Luna lives for the night,
and she loves to run and jump from an obstacle to another. She loves to
run into her ball (the one in the photo), and when I show it to her she
literally jumps into it.
She also loves to have a duvet. It's a peace of cotton that she takes to
make a more comfortable bed. She is very sensitive to the cold, I once a
found her in hibernating state! She was very cold and didn't want to
move. I had to take her in my hands to warm her up. So now I make sure
she sleeps in a warmer place and that she always has her duvet to help
her keep extra warm in our cold winter.
