Toby
is a very special pony that I lease. I was about five when I wanted a
pony of my own so I set out looking for one I looked everywhere in the
paper in magazines but they were all to expensive! One of my dad's
friends loves horses and she knew someone who had a wee Welsh Pony that
they were willing to lease so about one month later we went out to have
a look at this little chestnut Welsh Pony and that day we took him home!
Two years later, I still have him in my back paddock and we are going to
Pony Club and doing a few Horse Shows. He is well worth the seven-year wait
and I am very happy to have him to ride. I am now getting too big for
him so I have to give him back but he will still be in my heart and I
will still go out and visit him all the time! His sister a Welsh Pony
too is going to have a foal soon so I can go out and visit her and her
foal and stuff. I hope other people have special pets like my Toby and
love them even though they too might be waiting a long long time for a
horse or another pet. My advice to people out there: Keep looking 'cause
if you give up then you will never have happiness in your life.
