Hello,
my name is Sassy and I am a Peach-faced Lovebird. I am 7.5 years
old and still feel like I am 1. Although my name suits me sometimes, I
can be the most loveable creature on earth. I like to groom my two human
companions, and I am determined to get their feathers to pop out. I love
crawling inside people's T-Shirts and then chewing my way out. I enjoy
laughing when something funny is on TV. My talking is rather limited but
I can say "Thank you" and "goodnight," but I only say goodnight if I
feel I have received enough quality time with the family. If someone in
the family coughs or sneezes, I like to imitate them, but I can tell
when they are faking it to show me off. I can get a little territorial
at times and when I get really angry, singing to me calms me down, and I
will sing along. I love fresh bananas, especially if they are hand fed
to me. I am paper trained as well, and rarely have accidents.
