is Cromwell, my Vietnamese Potbelly Pig. My husband and I have
four dogs, five cats and hundreds of gallons of fish (all indoors and
pampered). Each is a rescue, so when we went looking for a pig, it had
to be a rescue as well. Cromzy had been bred in Missouri, a neighboring
state, but sold to someone on the east coast. When it didn't work out,
he went to Ross Mill Farms to lose some heft and find his forever home.
Through the hard work of Susan Armstrong, at Ross Mill Farms, and the
adoption programs at Pig Placement Network.com, they helped us identify
the perfect pig for our household. Susan helped us to define what we
wanted in a pig, helped educate us on pig parenting and connected us
with his breeder to learn more about his "family."
In April, I drove from Nebraska to Bucks County, PA to pick up Cromwell.
He's been a dream and the sweetest little pig anyone could ask for.
We are really blessed to have found each other! Cromwell has found his
forever home with us!
