This
is my big beautiful Star. He has been my baby for only five years, but
for what feels like forever. He is loyal as a dog, and will do anything
for his rider. He is a 16.2 hands-tall bay National Show Horse. He is
registered as half-Arabian and half Saddlebred, but my sister and I
swear he is half draft horse and half donkey. He has ears like a mule.
Star is such a goofy guy, always sticking out his tongue when he is
content. He has an underbite, which only adds to his goofiness by making
him look like he is always smiling. We know he will never hurt us, and
we are very grateful to call him ours. Recently we bought another horse,
supposed to be his friend, but it turns out that they don't really like
each other much. Our poor Starbucks was put in a pasture, and we gave
the new horse his old stall, but it seems like everyone is getting along
just fine now. Star is beginning to ride again after a minor injury to
his hoof. He'll be jumping again in no time. This sweetheart of a horse
is Pet of the Day every day in my mind.
